I’m not sure why some people are having difficulty with the front staff, they are always friendly, and courteous, and the nurses are wonderful. All drs offices charge for some of their services it’s common practice. Sometimes I do wait on the phone but never more than 15 min. And I am always called within 10 to 15 min. of my arrival. Drs are overwhelmed these days, our health care system is struggling, and Covid has made it much worst, we all need to be more understanding and kind on both ends.

Dr. Gibson, is an outstanding doctor. Simple as that. Very attentive and gets things done. So glad that both my spouse and I have her as our family doctor.... We are both very fortunate. Dr. Gibson is a huge benefit to clinic. We couldn't be any happier with her treatment. A genuine,real pleasant person with knowledge and skills...

Terrible, careless, and pay check attitude. been trying to get a hold of my doctors replacement for 2 weeks she made an error on my wsib and I have been trying to get a hold of of her she finally scheduled me an appointment. Called me from a private number that was automatically blocked by my spamwarem. I was on hold with the clinic for almost 5 minutes and they told me she already left the building and we must do a reschedule. not only am I upset so is my employer. Thank you for being my family doctor...

Clean clinic. Admin staff is friendly and returns calls quickly. Sure you can wait on hold for a little while sometimes but they are working on doing more things via the portal which is very convenient.I think most of the bad reviews are deeper than what we read. Usually there’s a different issue than just bad staff. Sadly admin gets most of the unhappy people blowing up at them for reasons that didn’t start with them!Dr Moalim-Nour is amazing. My Daughter has very bad anxiety and we’ve only ever had great experiences at SOMC.Thank you for providing such a high level of care.

Very disappointed in how I was greeted. The receptionist was extremely rude. I was running late due to weather and road conditions. I had called to let them know. Upon arrival I was told my appointment was already canceled and I would be paying a fee. After I said I'd like to have a number to call she rudly told us to sit down. After that the other staff members were rude and in a rush. My appointment was for my 6 year old son. It is not the first time the receptionist have been rude.

Prefacing this review with the understanding that health care is currently facing its challenges. I like my doctor, but there’s a lot of management shortcomings that I’ve experienced at this clinic, that have not improved over the 2 years that I’ve been a patient.I’ve consistently waited over 45 mins from my appointment time to see my doctor. It’s not top of mind for nursing staff to give their patients a heads up if wait times are longer than normal, or to consider how waiting upwards of 45 mins may impact their patient’s day. A gesture to acknowledge the wait would be appreciated. Be prepared to wait.Everything has a price tag. From notes, to minor procedures, to faxing prescriptions, to requesting prescriptions, insurance documents and unexpected fees…which makes you wonder if OHIP even covers anything. Be prepared to pay. Especially if you visit frequently, this could be a real issue.Admin staff is often confused or cannot answer simple questions, and often defer to “it’s clinic policy”, which they can’t explain; or to asking your doctor about administrative matters…this is frustrating given how often it occurs.Lastly, once you become a patient of the clinic, you are asked to sign a form that precludes you from going to any other walk in. I never understood why.I definitely wouldn’t recommend this clinic mostly because of the aforementioned reasons and even more, because of how it feels like more of a privatized business than a public health-care facility. I would love to see some improvements regarding wait times and clarity around policies, as well as reduction of fees.

Jasleen is always super helpful s and calls back as she indicates she would. She keeps her word and is kind and understanding when a patient is ill.Michele is amazing. Her promises of a call back is always kept.Unfortunately waiting over 30 min for someone to pick up is not the best.Dr Lyen is always making herself available for her patients.

Myself my husband and three kids have been going to this clinic for approximately 15 years and every experience we've had has been positive. The receptionists always very helpful, patient and accommodating contrary to the many reviews I've read. Our family Doc retired and was replaced by Dr. Alex Lei. Where do I begin... he is an amazing doctor. He's young, recently graduated, but don't let his age fool you. He is very educated, well informed, caring and he goes above and beyond for his patients. We are very lucky to have his as our doctor.

I'm not so sure why this clinic has such a low star rating. I am so grateful to be a patient of Dr.Gibsons, she is a caring and compassionate physician. The staff have always been helpful and pleasant. I feel we all need to exercise some tolerance as the doctors and staff are all under a great deal of pressure given shortages and long work hours as are many others as a result of this pandemic.

Dr. Cote is the best family doctor I've ever had! She's patient and really takes the time to listen and understand. Very lucky to have her. It is hard to reach reception sometimes, but the ladies at the front are always so friendly and helpful.
